Dr. Jessica Lee
Dr. Lee is a therapeutic optometrist, trained in providing the full scope of optometric care. She is trained in managing ocular disease, fitting corneal contact lenses and provides pre-operative and post-operative care. She has a special interest in dry eye disease. Dr. Lee attended Santa Clara University in California for her undergraduate studies and graduated with a Combined Science major that allowed her to experience a unique framework of science courses. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree in Boston, Massachusetts at The New England College of Optometry.
During her final year of studies, Dr. Lee travelled throughout the country for her internships which added to her clinical knowledge base and gave her valuable experience working with diverse patient populations. She received honors in all her rotations as she worked at a community health center in Boston Massachusetts, the University of Maryland medical center in Baltimore Maryland, the Veteran Affairs medical center in Portland, Oregon, and a well-established private practice in Beverly Hills, California. She had the privilege of working with ophthalmologists and optometrists specializing in corneal and retinal disease, oculoplastics, neuro-ophthalmology, and pediatric vision care.
She believes it is important to take the time to educate patients about their ocular health and finds a rewarding career in optometry because it provides the opportunity to develop long- term meaningful relationships with patients. She is a native of Washington State and currently resides in Sammamish with her husband James and her two young kids.
Kendra has been working in the optical industry for the past 8 years! She has a passion for art and science, so what better way to combine those two subjects than Opticianry? She has a keen sense of style and works diligently with patients to fit their personal style needs and occupations! Unsure of the best way to use your insurance? Afraid your prescription is too high for stylish frames? Have no fear, Kendra is here! She values supporting independent frame lines, loves all things vintage, and can’t get enough of frames that push the envelope just a little. When she isn’t picking the perfect frame for you on her first try (we’re serious! It’s magic sometimes!) she enjoys painting, rom coms from the 80s, thrifting, and trying out new coffee shops around town!
